When I started my research into menopause and tried to understand a bit more about it for myself, I discovered that there are an unbelievable 34 different symptoms that you could experience at some point during this change. I am sure every woman is different but I found it very helpful to read this and to realise that maybe my experience, so far, has not been too bad as I haven’t had them all yet! However the few that I am regularly experiencing are good enough for me, the nausea, dizziness, night sweats and of course the debilitating hot flushes that occur at the most unexpected and inconvenient moments. Reading the list made me feel a lot better though, knowing that everything is down to the menopause and not necessarily something more scary. Still it seems I have a lot still to look forward to!
